20th CENTURY MEXICAN ART

Mexican art came into its own during the first half of the 20th Century mainly in part to the profoundly influential Mexican muralists. Diego Rivera, David Siquerios and Jose Orozco led the movement and produced a beautiful and recognizable style often based on historical and political themes. Their art influenced Southern and African-American artists in the mid-20th Century, and elements of their style can still be seen in later Mexican artists who continue to create a large variety of important work. Gilley’s Gallery is pleased to offer original works and fine lithographs of the following important Mexican artists.
