"....Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a lifelong resident of Ascension Parish. Brought up in a rural community forty miles north of New Orleans...a stone's throw away from the muddy Mississippi River. Today, big industry operates beside sugar cane fields, and we now life in the middle of the industrial corridor known as "Cancer Alley." I've worked in these plants for over twenty years...where I got inspired to use their discarded material...including...big iron pipe which I convert into bold, brightly colored masks. Inspired by the 'coon ass' food, the blues, the religion, all the diverse people, the bayous, and the 'Deep South' landscapes. Now I do my work full time!
