WELCOME TO GILLEYSGALLERY.COM

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE NEW GILLEYSGALLERY.COM

The new website will be bigger, better, easier to find what you are looking for and way more interesting (at least that's what we're hoping for). We'll still have the same web address (www.gilleysgallery.com) so you can just check back here. The new website should be up an running by April 1st (fingers crossed).

Until then, we are limiting our updates to this site. If you are looking for new additions to our inventory by the artists that we carry, then please give us a call.

We're also gearing up for what should be the best and definitely the hottest, Outsider Art Fair, New York - May 8-11, 2014. This will be the first time the fair will be held in the spring and we can't wait!.

Gilley's Gallery, established in 1978, is the premier site for finding Louisiana art. We specialize in 19th and 20th Century Louisiana oils, watercolors, and fine prints, with an emphasis in the work of Clementine Hunter, Louisiana's most famous female artist. Whether you're looking for scenes of the Vieux Carre or Acadian cabins, steamboats on the Mississippi or pirogues on the bayou, you'll find it at Gilley's Gallery.

Gilley's also carries an equally impressive selection of American and Southern Regional art, European oils, 20th Century Mexican art, Native American portraits by McKenney & Hall and E. S. Curtis, and one of the country's largest selections of fine prints by John James Audubon. Please call or email if you have any questions about works you see or works you're looking for.

To compliment the art we sell, we also offer custom framing. With hundreds of frames to choose from in a variety of finishes, you will be able to find the perfect frame for your artwork. We also carry museum quality glass and hundreds of different mat options.

CLEMENTINE HUNTER
In case you missed it, on June 16, 2013 the New York Times published a three page story on Clementine Hunter in their Sunday Travel section. The author, Jennifer Moses stopped by
Gilley's Gallery on her visit to Baton Rouge and we were honored by a kind mention in the story.
The online version of the story is still available and can be found by clicking the link below.
